ABOUT US

Coda Workshop is a team of award-winning, multidisciplinary design-led architects committed to creating sustainable, site-specific design that enriches everyday life. Our work is shaped by a deep interest in the relationships between people, landscape, heritage, materials, light and interiors.

We design across all scales - from strategic planning and community buildings to homes, crafted interventions and landscape-led projects, bringing together expertise in environmental design, Passivhaus principles, horticulture, and materially sensitive architecture.

Collaboration sits at the heart of our approach. We work closely with clients, communities, and project partners, fostering a genuinely inclusive design process that ensures every aspect is explored with care, creativity, and clarity.

We have significant experience working in historic contexts. Our approach to heritage is rooted in an understanding of historical significance and a craftsman-like respect for existing fabric, ensuring contemporary design responds sensitively to context.

Alongside practice, we contribute to the wider industry through research collaborations, teaching, helping shape conversations around sustainability, community engagement, and the future of the built environment.

We are registered with the following organisations:

ARB, Passivhaus Trust, AECB, SPAB, Landscape Institute, RHS, YPHA
