Why it matters

In a conventional project, the relationship between client and contractor can become adversarial. Drawings are handed over, a separate contractor takes the lead, and the original design intent can gradually erode — through value engineering, misinterpretation, or simply the pressures of programme and cost.

Coda Build exists to prevent that. With a direct working relationship between the architect and construction team, decisions on site are informed by a genuine understanding of the design.
