It was a hot summer and thanks to this clients soda stream, we drank a lot of chilled sparkling water during this project. We aimed to return the favour by injecting a bit of fizz into their home.

This refurbishment and extension project was designed under permitted development guidelines and the clients brief was for this project to seamlessly integrate with the existing home to create a modest light-filled space that serves as the heart of the home.

A large roof light bathes the interior in natural sunlight, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation. The space encompasses a new kitchen, dining area, sitting room, WC and utility store ensuring that the space works hard to maximise functionality.

Working within tight budget constraints, this project stretched every penny to its fullest potential, ensuring that it’s not just the client’s home that was altered, but the lives and daily experiences of its inhabitants changed in positive ways they didn’t anticipate.
